Potomac Psychological Center is proud to co-host "Supporting Self-Driven Resilient Kids" an event hosted by Embark Center for Self-Directed Education and also co-hosted by Ryan Bartel Foundation and Fusion Academy Loudoun.  This event is for parents and professionals and features Bill Stixrud, PhD and Ned Johnson, co-authors of the bestselling "The Self-Driven Child".  They will be providing a free talk, discussion and book signing.  The event will be held on February 6, 2026 at 10:00am at the Rust Library in Leesburg. Potomac Psychological Center (PPC) is comprised of Psychiatrists, Licensed Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors.  Our highly qualified clinicians treat children, adolescents and adults. We provide a wide array of treatment modalities including individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, group therapy, psychological evaluations and medication management.

Dr. Mukhara offers in person/telehealth appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and will only be seeing patients for telehealth appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Dr. Abdel-Kader offers in person/telehealth appointments on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and will only be seeing patients for telehealth appointments on Mondays and Fridays.    Dr. Ansari is only providing telehealth appointments on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Dr. Janke is only seeing patients in person on Thursdays and Fridays.  Below are their links for you to sign into at your appointment time.  Simply enter the link into your web browser at the time of your appointment.  You must have a scheduled appointment in order to access the doxy.me platform.  If you are an existing patient, please contact our front desk at 703-858-7838 x100 or ptadmin@potomacpsych.com to schedule an appointment.  New patients should contact 703-858-7838 x111 to schedule an appointment.
